Heinz was a company that sold various food and condiment products. It merged with Kraft in 2015, and is now known as the Kraft Heinz Company. Before the synergy, Heinz was responsible for various standalone products. One of the more infamous of these was Heinz Ez Squirt- a line of ketchup products served with different colors.
The product was introduced in 2000, and in the following year saw a promotion for the then-newly released Shrek. Specially marked green Ez Squirt bottles featured Shrek and red bottles featured Princess Fiona. A small clip of Shrek using Ez Squirt to cover his "bug on a bun" was also featured in a commercial promoting the bottles. After the product was discontinued, Heinz would still feature Shrek characters on their products until around 2008.
