Humpty Dumpty

"The Great Terror! That's the goose's mama!"

Jack Andy Beanstalk

The Great Terror is a gigantic white goose with golden flight feathers and the mother of the Golden Goose. When Puss, Humpty, and Kitty entered the keep of the castle, she made herself known to the trio by making noises and moving through the undergrowth of her garden but was never seen. Humpty claimed that legend had it that anyone who looked at "it" would turn to stone but nobody knew because walked out of the castle alive, doing so as to keep the cats in the dark about who she truly was. Upon the trio taking the Golden Goose, she chased after them, knocking down the tree-like foliage. One tree that she does knock snags the rope that the trio were using to cross the gap between her island and the rest of the room, causing them to plummet down the overgrown waterway. She quickly manages to get down there and continue her pursuit until the cats and egg get sucked down a drain with her gosling, helplessly watching her disappear from view. By the time Puss learns what the Great Terror is from Andy 'Jack' Beanstalk while incarcerated in San Ricardo Prison the following day, she manages to escape the castle and fly all the way directly to San Ricardo, as Humpty had intended on having her attack and lay waste to the town he so hated. Just as Puss manages to catch Humpty in the tower of San Ricardo Orphanage and convince him not to take his anger out on the innocent townsfolk, she shows up and descends upon the town. Upon landing and seeing the townsfolk with the eggs of her child, she goes into a rampage, chasing civilians and damage several buildings while calling for her baby. Puss manages to get to her, and tries to explain to her that he'll lead her to her baby, but she unfortunately spotted the golden eggs all around the Orphanage belfry, believing she was being kept there. On her way, a line of bunting gets caught on her and Puss uses it to swing around and save Mama Imelda and a lamb before using it as a bridle to control her movement, showing her the Golden Goose in the back of Humpty's cart, resulting in a chase out of town. While on the ride out, she crushes Jack and Jill who were wanting to steal her baby from Humpty. After Humpty set his wagon into its gliding mode to escape The Comandante and his soldiers, she manages to knock it out of flight and cause it to crash on the bridge leading out of town. The Great Terror jumps over the gatehouse and walks onto the viaduct, causing its collapse with her own it and nearly taking Humpty and her gosling down with the rope they were connected to. Puss is barely able to grab hold of the severed ropes while the titanic bird gets pinned under the rubble. This leads to the pivotal point of the movie where Humpty sacrifices himself so that Puss may save the Golden Goose. Upon being reunited with her child and receiving a formal apology from Puss, the Great Terror carries her on the back of her neck, and scoops the golden egg that was with Humpty before flying back to her home in The Land of Giants. At the end of the moving, she celebrates the return of her gosling, and the addition of Humpty to her family.
