Kid Cuisines are a popular brand of frozen kids' meals. The main gimmick of the Shrek versions was that the desserts would turn your tongue green. Both the fun nuggets and mac & cheese meals were initially released in honor of Shrek 2, but would return for the release of Shrek Forever After.

The meals would also be rebranded as "Limited Editions Shrek-ified Meals," and featured a special contest. If one were to purchase a meal with a rare green tray, the winner would get a chance to visit Universal Studios Hollywood to meet Shrek himself. Other traditional Kid Cuisine meals would still feature the Shrek characters and be involved with the contest.
