Oh, dear!

–The Fairy Godmother

The Fairy Godmothers are three fairies that appear in the first Shrek film. They are presumably based on the three fairies from Disney's Sleeping Beauty.

One of the Fairy Godmothers provides the transport.

The Fairy Godmothers are exiled along with the other fairytale creatures to Shrek's swamp. They were possibly sold to Lord Farquaad by Sleeping Beauty. They were frightened by Shrek's ranting and yelling so they flew back to their tent. The Fairy Godmothers then cheered Shrek and Donkey on their journey to Duloc.

At the end of the film, the Fairy Godmother in pink was seen at Shrek and Fiona's wedding, where she used her wand to turn the Three Blind Mice into three white horses and an onion into a carriage (a reference to Cinderella) for Shrek and Fiona to ride off to their honeymoon.
